Post-Storm Update: 685 in Brewster Waiting for Power

The utility company is shooting for restorations to be in effect within the next 36 hours.

As of 2:15 p.m. Thursday, around 3,290 New York State Electric & Gas customers in Putnam County were still in the dark.

Folks around the rest of the Hudson Valley were still feeling the affects, too. At the same time, in Westchester, more than 5,365 customers were waiting for restorations, according to reports from the company's online Outage Central. In Dutchess, the count was approximately 590.

Locally, the streets of Brewster and Southeast should have power restored by 11:30 p.m. Friday, at the latest. About half of the outages the company listed should have electricity back late Thursday.
