Troopers Arrest 5 on Drug, Alcohol-Related Charges

The New York State Police provided the following information. It does not indicate any conviction.

 

Over the weekend, officials from the East Fishkill and Southeast barracks arrested:

  • New Milford, CT resident Anthony G. Primavera, 46, around 4:20 a.m. Sunday on Interstate 84 in Southeast. Police charged the defendant, who was heading east, with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Officials issued Primavera an appearance ticket. 
  • Southeast resident Sarah L. Garrett, 28, around 3:35 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Doansburg Road and Gage Road in Southeast. Troopers charged Garrett with two traffic infractions — moving from the lane unsafely and driving left of the pavement parkers — in addition to misdemeanor driving while intoxicated. Officials released the defendant to a third party.
  • Spring Hope, NC resident Sabas E. Coronado, 34, around 6 p.m. Sunday on Crosby Avenue in Southeast. Police charged Coronado with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, both misdemeanors. The latter typically comes with a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent or higher. Officials held Coronado on $500 station bail.
  • Southeast resident Thomas McCarthy, 59, around 1 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Route 22 and Route 164 in Patterson. Troopers charged McCarthy with first-degree driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident, an infraction. Police reports do not indicate any injuries. They show that officials held McCarthy at the time of the arrest.
  • Southeast resident Andrea L. Bondi, 22, around 2:45 a.m. Saturday on Tonetta Lake Road in Southeast. Police reports show that Bondi was involved in a single-vehicle accident. No one was injured. Troopers charged the defendant with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated and issued her an appearance ticket.
