Putnam Hospital Center Thanks Employees

Putnam Hospital Center recently recognized the service of 142 employees.

In addition, 16 retirees were honored for their dedication to Putnam County's only acute care hospital and largest employer, PHC said in a release.

PHC President and CEO Donna M. McGregor, Health Quest President and PHC Medical Staff President Dr. Janusz Rudnicki, each spoke at the event, thanking the employees for their efforts on behalf of Putnam Hospital Center.  

Recognition awards were presented to the employees who are celebrating their 40-, 35-, 30-, 25-, 20-, 15-, 10- and 5-year service anniversaries.

Maureen Zipparo led the honorees with 40 years of service to the organization, followed by Antoinette Biolchini, Katherine LeBarron and Rose Quattrone with 35 years each.  Christine Cosmo, Theresa Fradella, Patricia Holohan, Ronnee Melican and Anna Marie Schramek were recognized for having worked 30 years at PHC while Hollis Baker, Jr., Mary Foley, Carmel Roberts, Dolores Toscano and Erin Zarella were honored for their 25 years at the Carmel hospital.

Nineteen employees were honored for their 20 years of service to the hospital- Michael Arthur, Diane Cunningham, June Fredriksen, Kathleen Gillman, Kathleen Hajosch, Carol Hansen, Catherine Harrington, Kathy Huber, Julia Lally, Debora Maida, Julianne Matrician, Bernadette McLaughlin, Judith Occhiogrossi, Linda Raffaele, Ajit Singh, Mary Ann Stevens, Patricia Varveri, Rosemary Waldron and  Lynn Young.

Twenty-three employees were recognized for their 15 years of service to the hospital: Jane Bennett, Louis Bressan, Mary Byrne, Janet Castelli, Tracey Cuccia, Susan Dembinsky, Kathleen Glynn, Stephanie Gosney, Dawn Kubilus, Elizabeth Leonard, Judy McCarthy-Vorbach, Marilyn Merkel, Debra Monaco, Katherine Pappagallo, Debra Pezzullo, Shirley Roberts-Brereton, Pamela Rothacker, Jeffrey Rusinko, Kathleen Tobin, Silvia Trejo, Laura Valedon, Barbara Ann Varian and Lorraine Vignogna.

Ten-year awardees included Morgan Albano, Katherine Billman, Kathleen Bowman, Albertina Burcescu, Daniel Burgard, Carol Casey, Patricia Caulfield, Gretchen Chenard-Murphy, Patricia Cross, Jose Estabaya, Joseph Garafolo, Jean Giordano, Laura Hegedus, Mary Howard, Sheryl James, Victor Jimenez, Gerard Kubik, Jacquelin Perez-Jackson, Joseph Perucci, Earl Proffit, Geraldine Schneider, Steven Suarez, Lisa Torres, Dorothy Yatsko and Craig Yerger.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
