Fun Family Event for ALL— with and without allergies! 9/28/13 Westchester FARE Walk

2 WEEKS TO GO UNTIL The 4th Annual Westchester FARE Walk for Food Allergy at Glen Island Park in New Rochelle on September 28, 2013. 

Check-in and activities begin at 1:00 pm. The Walk ceremony starts at 2:00 pm. The FARE Walk for Food Allergy raises money for food allergy research, awareness, advocacy, and education.  This potentially life-threatening disease affects up to 15 million Americans, including 1 in every 13 US children – roughly two in every classroom.  Last year the Westchester Walk had over 1500 walkers, who raised more than $200,000 for the cause.

This year the Walk, which includes a family fun day loaded with activities and giveaways, welcomes Lee Goldberg, from WABC-TV, as Honorary Chair and

 Dr. Jennifer Kim, from Mount Sinai Hospital, as Honorary Medical Chair

2013 Honored Guest & Speaker Dr. Hugh Sampson Mount Sinai Hospital

              Activities will include:DJ ~ soccer ~ gaga ~ bouncy castles ~ face painting ~ carnival games ~ arts and crafts ~ obstacle                           course ~ giveaways from sponsors ~ and much more

Registration is free, and all walkers who raise $100 or more in donations receive a T-shirt.  Advance registration can be completed @www.foodallergywalk.org/westchester.
