THE BREWSTER THEATER COMPANY DIMS THE LIGHTS ON 2014 SEASON TO FOCUS SPOTLIGHT ON FUTURE

Theater Company Does Some Soul Searching and Sweeps Up Backstage

Brewster, NY-To ensure a future that offers a dynamic, robust Marquee, The Brewster Theater Company has decided to postpone its 2014 season.  The postponement only concerns its main stage productions.  The Armchair Actor readings, one-acts, various workshops and the very popular Cabaret series will continue, as scheduled.

This “Pinter pause” to their season is part of a focused restructuring from the inside out. Internal changes include, not only a contemplation of future direction, but also a restructuring of the Board. Stacy Dumont, President and co-founder of The Brewster Theater Company looks with renewed excitement to the upcoming changes, "As a co-founder of Brewster Theater, I have watched the Company grow significantly over the last 14 years. It is now vital to our continued expansion that we step back, slow down for a season, and edify our foundation so that we can build the BTC structure to new and exciting heights."
