April 11: School Budget, Wells Curriculum Night, Village Budget
Our five items to keep in mind throughout the day.
1. The Brewster Public Library will host its Babies and Books Program at 11 a.m. Children should be at least 6 months old. No registration is required.
2. In a 7-0 vote last night, the Brewster Board of Education adopted a $84,074,419 budget for 2012-2013. Check back with Patch later today for details.

- Sixth grade—Optional tour at 5:30, overview in auditorium at 6
- Seventh and eighth grades—Optional tour at 6
- Sixth, seventh and eighth grades—Curriculum presentation in the auditorium at 6:45
4. Brewster trustees are slated to gather for a 7:30 p.m. public hearing at on the proposed budget for next year. A work session may follow.
5. The National Weather Service is calling for a chance of midday showers, as well as cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 50s in Brewster today.
