April 17: Legislature Committee Meeting, Court, Prom Project

Our five items to keep in mind throughout the day.

1.  Last chance reminder: A group of Patchers is walking in this weekend's Go the Distance Walk to support Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center. to learn more about the hospital, or click here to make a donation.

2. The Rules, Enactments and Intergovernmental Relations Committee of the Putnam County Legislature is slated to meet at 6:30 p.m. in room 318 of the county office building. Click here for the agenda and additional details.

3. The Town of Southeast will hold court at 6 p.m. at the  on Route 22.

4. Tonight's prom project meeting at is slated to start at 7 in the Performing Arts Center. The next and last one is scheduled for the same time and place Thursday. Students who plan to attend either the junior or senior prom must attend one of the meetings, with a parent.

5. While it won't be as warm as yesterday, today's weather in Brewster should still be pleasant. The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies and a high in the low 70s.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
