City of Peekskill to Host Gun Buyback to Rid City of Illegal and Unwanted Firearms

The City of Peekskill won't put its residents in handcuffs today if they are caught with an illegal firearm at the United Methodist Church—in fact, they will pay them between $100 and $250 to hand it over. The Cash-for-Guns program is being held today to allow locals to sell their illegally-owned or unwanted firearms.
