Construction workers destroyed one bridge on westbound Interstate 84 in Southeast this weekend and slid a new one in its place, a process that will be repeated next month on the eastbound side of the roadway.
I-84 was closed Saturday evening through Sunday midday and traffic was backed up throughout the area. Dingle Ridge Road is still closed to traffic, and will remain that way until Wednesday.
