Rain, Snow, Thunder, Cold: Forecast into March 13

The brunt of the storm will pass to the north.

The National Weather Service calls for about an inch of snow to fall on Putnam County overnight.

That's along with the rain, thunderstorms and rapidly dropping temperatures.

From a current 50 degrees at 2:24PM, the high tomorrow should be in the 20s.

We're much better off than upstate New York, where 10-18 inches of new snow is expected and non-essential state employees have already been sent home in Allegany, Cattaraugus, Cayuga, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Niagara, Ontario, Orleans, Oswego, Wayne and Wyoming counties.
