Yorktown Fire Truck Makes Educational Stop at BOCES

Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES Pines Bridge and Walden Schools students were treated to a visit by a Yorktown Fire Department truck recently. During the visit, students learned about the truck's equipment and controls.

Two Free Lectures at the Museum

The Southeast Museum is offering a lecture this afternoon all about Grand Central Terminal. Next Saturday, the topic of discussion will be the Rodgers and Hammerstein Era. Both are free and open to the public.

"Something's Afoot," a Musical, to be Staged by Armonk Players

Voting Begins in Pink Glove Dance Contest

Cortlandt Manor's Hudson Valley Hospital Center is taking part in the 2013 Med Line Pink Glove Video contest. The prize for the competition is $25,000, according to the hospital's above blog post. Voting begins on November 8.
