I was on Prospect Hill Road in Southeast a few days ago, and I noticed this view.
I snapped a photo because what I was looking at brought to mind another Putnam scene—one that was the topic of conversation on the Facebook page for Southeast-Brewster Patch a few months ago. The photo posted there shows a housing development that sits on the top of a hill in Carmel, and tons of folks commented on it.
"I don't care for it at all, it's unattractive, out of character, and unnecessary," one user wrote. "Sad."
"We may not like it but if people felt that way twenty years ago about development most of us wouldn't have been able or maybe even allowed to move into this area," another said.
