Your Weekend: Charlie Brown in Brewster, Food Festival and More

There are tons of ways to keep busy around Brewster and Southeast this weekend, and we're here to help you decide which happenings are for you.

Brewster Varsity Football Car Wash
When: 9 a.m. Saturday (July 27)
Where: Henry H. Wells Middle School (570 Route 312 in Southeast)
Why go? No reason to wait until the first game of the season to start supporting the team! Plus, you'll leave with a sparkling clean car.


DeCicco’s Family Markets’ Local Food Festival
When: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday (July 27)
Where: DeCicco's Family Markets (50 Independent Way in Southeast)
Why go? This all-day food festival is set to feature yummy items and more than 50 vendors from Orange, Putnam and Westchester counties. There will be plenty of tasting tables and a variety of goods. 


"You're A Good Man Charlie Brown"
When: 7 p.m. Friday (July 26)
Where: St. Lawrence O'Toole Parish Hall (31 Prospect Street in Brewster)
Why go? Come see a local production of this classic story. It's a staff and alumni production, and organizers describe it as a "high-energy, family friendly musical comedy." Tickets are $12 at the door.
