Brewster Theater Company’s Armchair Actors’ series returns on Tuesday, April 10, at 7pm, with a reading of “The Philadelphia Story” at The Studio Around the Corner in Brewster. Coordinated by Patricia Sebastian, join other interested participants in reading the script at our first meeting, and rehearsing it again on April 17 at 7pm.  The free public reading will be presented on Tuesday, May 1 at 7pm at The Studio Around The Corner, Old Town Hall at 67 Main Street, Ste. 101 in Brewster. While admission to and participation in the event is free, all are encouraged to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to be donated to the local food pantry. For more information, please contact Patricia Sebastian at psebastian@brewstertheater.org or visit www.brewstertheater.org. This event is made possible, in part by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NY State Legislature and with public funds from Putnam County.  These grant programs are managed and monitored by the Putnam Arts Council.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.

Great topics. I really like Mr Jacobs point of view on education. Also "A recipe for aRead More meaningful education." Always looking for more ideas on this topic. After all it is your child education-why not let then be involved in decisions. Look forward to April 12th. Thank you to Longview for offering this great event.
