PHOTOS: Pottery Pieces, Paintings to Fill Studio Around the Corner

The exhibit runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Curators at the in Brewster are expecting hundreds of people to come out and view the latest exhibit.

Erin Meagher and Michelle Peterson coordinated the show, which will feature paintings by Lou Wabshinak, a lifelong Brewster resident, and pottery by John Lavin of Rhinebeck. After Lavin and his wife attended a previous exhibit, the , he approached the Studio about displaying some of his own pieces, Meagher said.

The exhibit runs from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, this weekend and next. All pieces are for sale. Meagher said that recent shows have drawn folks from as far as New York City.
