Viva Tortuga: Meshing Conservation and Culture in Magdalena Bay - 16 min

The rich natural resources of Magdalena Bay, a wildlife haven on the Pacific Coast of Mexico's Baja Peninsula, were once endangered by sea turtle poaching and other extractive activity. This documentary explores the surrounding community's efforts to build a new economic model around conservation and sustainable tourism. Producers: Maria Luskay, Andrew Revkin

The Robeson Concert & Riots of 1949  - 29 min (World Premiere)
In 1949, Paul Robeson, an African-American baritone with leftist political leanings, staged a concert in Cortlandt Manor, NY to benefit the Civil Rights Congress. But racism and anticommunist fears sparked a series of terrifying riots that threatened to shut down the concert and injured many attendees. Pete Seeger, who performed at the concert, and local historians and residents remember the impact of the riots on the town of Peekskill and the nation.Director/Produer: Eileen Newman, Featuring: Pete Seeger

Winter Rye - 27 min (World Premiere)
