Brewster Volleyball--Week 2

The Brewster Varsity volleyball game split a pair of games during their second week of the regular season.  First, the girls faced off against North Salem.  

Brewster took North Salem in three matches.

Junior Serena Murphy (3)  had 11 kills, 5 aces, and 13 digs.
Senior Christi O'Hanlon (1) had 5 kills, 4 aces, and 4 digs.
Senior Sam DiCanio (4) had 2 kills and 13 digs
.Junior Erin Hurley (13) had 4 kills and 13 assists.
Sophomore Virginia Wheatley (14) had 10 kills and 3 aces.
Junior Leah Sullivan had 3 kills, 6 assists, 3 aces, and 11 digs. 

The girls fought for every point and refused to give up.  

On Wednesday 9/11, Brewster fell to Somers in 3 games.

25-16 Somers

Junior Serena Murphy (3)  had 5 kills and 12 digs.
Senior captain Sam DiCanio (4) had 2 kills and 5 digs.

The girls struggled to keep their momentum going from North Salem, and struggled to communicate on the court.  Overall, the girls ended week 2 at 1-2.
