Brewster Farmers Market Open Until Nov. 23

It's hard to believe the 2013 Brewster Farmers Market season kicked off four months ago, but closing day is not far off.

The market runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays, rain or shine, at 208 East Main Street in the village. Nov. 23 is the last day.

"It is definitely getting colder now, but if the corn and tomatoes are dwindling, it must be time for squash and sprouts and to stock up the potatoes and onions!" Market manager KC Anderson said in an email. "Of course, the bakery items, meats, Italian specialties and soaps are weather-proof so we are still at the market until the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Stop by to shop and place your Turkey Day orders."

Vendors this season have included Brewster's Bacenti Specialty Foods, New Jersey-based Pickle Licious, Southeast's Ryder Farm and more.
