Brewster Featured in Wall Street Journal

The Southeast-Brewster area was the center of attention in a recent feature in the Wall Street Journal's New York Real Estate Residential section.

Written by Melanie Lefkowitz, the Nov. 8 piece, available online here, gives an overview of the "area commonly known as Brewster"—the village and the surrounding Town of Southeast. It's called "Brewster's Name Stretches Beyond Borders."

Lefkowitz gives an overview of local parks and schools, as well as dining, entertainment and shopping options. She mentions a few popular restaurants, too: Aversano's, Fiesta Mexicana, Rraci and Red Rooster.

Local real estate agent Barbara Negro is quoted in the feature. She gives a range of prices for homes in the area, and she also talks about the changes she's seen since moving here 30 years ago.
