Between business orders, deliveries and walk-in customers, the Brewster Flower Garden was bustling with Valentine's Day activity Thursday.
"Everybody's running," owner Mark Buzzetto said.
He and his employees, which include five drivers and many in-store associates for the big day, have been getting ready for more than a week. Valentine's Day is the shop's busiest time of year.
"We've been prepping for a good 10 days, making rose boxes up, getting buckets ready, getting everything all situated," he said. "I have to order everything way in advance to make sure I get the good, quality roses."
Quality is something Buzzetto and his team have always taken seriously. The attention to detail and dedication have paid off—this month marks 25 years.
"Thank you to everyone," he said. "I don't know how I did it."
-The delivery count was up to 275 before noon. -The roses come from Ecuador. If you received flowers from this Brewster staple, take a photo and upload it here!
