Real Estate: 6 Houses to See

Despite the possibility of more snow this weekend, Open Houses are scheduled throughout the area.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, as Patch introduces its Friday column of open houses scheduled for the weekend. While several have been canceled, some are still listed, and more will follow next weekend when the sun is rumored to reappear.

If you are on the lookout for a new home in the Southeast-Brewster area, or curious about the homes your neighbors are selling, venture out to one or all of this weekend's events.

Even if you are not in the market for  a home, an open house provides an excellent opportunity to meet neighbors, pick up decorating ideas or pass along a special find to friends hoping to move to the community.

Click on the pictures to view the addresses and hours of each showing, along with the basics for each house. The same information is posted in an easy-to-scan list below.

What you actually need is a permit from the NYC DEP. The reservoir is owned by NYC and they governRead More all activities. You can find out more at http://www.nyc.gov/html/dep/html/recreation/boating.shtml

The building is owned and operated by the Town of Southeast. All people in the Village of BrewsterRead More pay taxes to the Town of Southeast.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
