Bakery in Brewster

This Vacancies post, from Friday, focuses on an empty Main Street storefront. A comment on that story from Mark Anderson, a local property manager, indicates that a bakery could be moving in soon.

Help Wanted

A cashier position is open at the Shell on Route 22 in Southeast, according to a sign standing outside the station recently.

Patterson Business Closing

Magnolia's Café, an eatery on Front Street across from the Patterson Train Station, is closing Wednesday. It's been around for years, drawing Putnam folks for breakfast, lunch and the occasional music performance. Read more about the closing in this Facebook post.

Synchronicity Moves to Southeast

After years in Pawling, owner Marcus Feighery recently moved Synchronicity to the Lakeview Plaza on Route 22 in Southeast. Check out the photos at right to see what sorts of products are available in the shop, which is dedicated to helping folks alleviate stress through certain items, as well as workshops. Staff members say business has been great so far.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.

Great topics. I really like Mr Jacobs point of view on education. Also "A recipe for aRead More meaningful education." Always looking for more ideas on this topic. After all it is your child education-why not let then be involved in decisions. Look forward to April 12th. Thank you to Longview for offering this great event.
