Local Wireless Zones to Expand Their Community Role in Putnam and Westchester

Brewster, N.Y. - David Robles and Mike Jacobs are expanding their formula for success beyond the walls of the three Wireless Zone stores they own in Putnam and Westchester counties. The duo is adding a corporate and community relations division to their company and have tapped local business leader Faith Ann Butcher to head up the efforts.

“We have a reputation in the area for providing outstanding service to the customers who come to our stores in Brewster, Bedford Hills and Mahopac,” said Robles, who has been in the mobile communications industry for almost two decades. “We have witnessed how people have gone from just making phone calls with their cellphones to now running their lives from the latest mobile devices. In our stores we are able to educate our customers on how to get the most from Verizon Wireless’ reliable 4G service. Now we want to go out into the community and make business owners aware of the solutions Wireless Zone offers to make their companies more efficient.”

The corporate and community relations division will actively work with the local chambers of commerce, business associations and nonprofit groups to promote computer literacy, internet safety and communication advances. It will also host hands-on educational workshops on the latest technology, apps and other related topics.

“The communities in Putnam and Westchester have supported Wireless Zone through the years and we feel a certain sense of social responsibility to give back to society,” said Robles. “Having Faith, who is already a member of so many business and nonprofit organizations, lead the corporate and community relations team just makes sense.”

Faith will be the company's business development manager. Prior to joining Wireless Zone, she served as the chief executive officer of All Media Publishing and had also previously worked as the chief operations officer for Examiner Media.
