Volunteer For Charity Triathlon Benefiting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!

Volunteers Needed!

Do you want to support the fight against cancer? Come volunteer at The Sleepy Hollow Sprint Triathlon on June 29, 2014 in Sleepy Hollow, NY. This event is put on by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, a non-profit whose mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life for patients and their families. We rely heavily on volunteers like you so that all of the money raised can go directly to the mission. Our volunteers are very important to us and largely responsible for the great success of The Sleepy Hollow Sprint Triathlon.

What is a sprint triathlon? This is an event where participants swim .5 miles, bike 10 miles, and then run 3 miles. The swim takes place along the Hudson River while the bike and run will be throughout Sleepy Hollow. We need volunteers to help in the following areas:

  • parking
  • body marking
  • volunteer tent
  • registration
  • transition areas
  • swim course
  • bike course
  • run course
  • aid/water stations
  • finish line

If you are interested in volunteering for The Sleepy Hollow Sprint Triathlon please contact Ann-Marie Smith at Ann-Marie.Smith@lls.org or call (914) 821-8993.
