Fresh Powder Blankets Thunder Ridge
Friday's storm was a gift for skiers and snowboarders.
Local folks looking to enjoy the winter weather need not go far.
The slopes at Thunder Ridge Ski Area were covered in about 15 inches of fresh powder Saturday morning, according to the mountain's Facebook page.
Two dozen trails are open, as well as two chair lifts (one of which was on "wind hold" just before noon).
