Oct. 17: Homework Help, PTSA, Village Trustees Meeting

Here are five items to keep in mind throughout the day.

1. County officials are set to meet on the steps of the Historic Courthouse in Carmel (on Gleneida Avenue) at 1 p.m. in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Learn more here.

2. Brewster's Board of Trustees is slated to gather at 7:30 p.m. in Village Hall.

3. The Brewster Public Library is offering homework help from 4:30 to 6 p.m. today.

4. Brewster High School's PTSA will meet for a general body session/meet-and-greet at 7:30 p.m. in the library. Executives will gather at 6:15.

5. Expect mostly sunny skies and a high near 60 degrees in Brewster, according to the National Weather Service.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
