Snow Slated to Continue into Evening

Brewster will likely see a couple of inches.

A "light snow" is expected to blanket the Lower Hudson Valley Tuesday afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service.

The agency issued a special weather statement calling for a mix of snow and rain for Putnam, Rockland, Westchester and many of the surrounding counties. In the afternoon and evening, the precipitation is likely to change back to snow alone.

"The snow should accumulate on area roadways, causing slippery conditions," the statement reads.

Brewster is looking at 1 to 2 inches during the day, and up to half an inch in the evening, before 8 p.m., according to NWS.

Local conditions Wednesday will likely include sunny skies and a high of about 40 degrees.

Great topics. I really like Mr Jacobs point of view on education. Also "A recipe for aRead More meaningful education." Always looking for more ideas on this topic. After all it is your child education-why not let then be involved in decisions. Look forward to April 12th. Thank you to Longview for offering this great event.
