[VIDEO] Brewster Siblings Compete in Soap Box Derby Race

About 30 children competed to be sent to the finals in Ohio this summer.

Quaker Ridge Road was turned into a speedway Sunday when the Uniformed Fire Fighters Association Local 273 held the 10th annual All-American Soap Box Derby.

Organizer Rich Bongiorni said about 30 children participated in the gravity-powered race.

The two winners—one in Stock Division and one in Super Stock Division—will be sent to Akron, OH, for the finals, where they can win scholarships and prizes.

The cars are made from kits sold by the All-American Soap Box Derby.
