"Dare to Be Different" opens at Studio Around the Corner

"Dare To Be Different"


Linda Bloch is a local artist who works with The Mental Health Association in Putnam County II, Inc. to facilitate imagination and expression through art. Ms. Bloch attended Hofstra University and Pratt Institute, where she received degrees in art education and special education.

"Dare To Be Different" features a selection of various media including collage, drawings, silk screen and paintings as well as work by her students at The Mental Health Association in Putnam County II, Inc.

Opening Reception: Friday February 15th from 7pm - 9pm
Additional viewing hours on Saturday February 16th and 23rd from 12 - 2pm, and Friday February 22nd from 7pm - 9pm.

This event is made possible, in part by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the NY State Legislature and with public funds from Putnam County.
