Locavores, come out of hiding! This event features local food advocates, growers and producers discussing their work, businesses, products and the challenges and rewards of being a provider in the local food chain.


Authors Robin Shulman ("Eat the City") and Frederick Kaufman ("Bet the Farm") are there to discuss their books. CEO/President Dan Leader of Bread Alone Bakery and Emmons Chase from the Brooklyn Grange Rooftop Garden are speakers. Also features a local grower showcase.

Find out who's behind the local food industry, how they got there, what they do, what they would like to do and how it all impacts you. An interesting forum for consumers and providers alike.
