Brewster Theater Company brings playwrights Kelly and Elizabeth Joyce back to the stage with their reading of Finding Home, a story of an Irish family. Deirdre Kelly has to move back home to her father and younger sister after losing her apartment. Family dynamics are challenged as members of the Kelly household make life altering decisions. Even though past grievances surface among relatives and friends, a good poker game brings everyone together.
This is the second play Kelly and Elizabeth Joyce have written together. Back in 2002, the sisters penned "Love & Other Things," a dinner theater show produced by the company. Kelly has produced Elizabeth's other plays, "Good Women, Lousy Men" (2004) and "Looking for Sean, Finding Seamus." (2007). Kelly is a teacher, with a Masters in Education from Fordham University. Elizabeth is an Assistant Librarian at Brewster Public Library and Ruth Keeler Library in North Salem.
