Dr. April Lynn James shares her 2003 Harvard exhibit, In Her Own

Hands: Operas Composed by Women 1625-1913, in this wonderful presentation.
Through recorded music, diaries, letters, pictures and other materials, she
traces the development of opera, from the 17th century Italian courts to the
public opera houses of 19th century Paris. Registration preferred, walk-ins welcome
