Pawling's Gallery on the Green Presents William Mutell's Arc of Light

William Mutell Arc of Light Exhibition

Radio tower antenna engineer by day, painter by night,
self-taught artist Bill Mutell reaches new heights in a retrospective of his
work, on view at the Gallery on The Green in Pawling, NY, starting July 19.
Featuring his Hudson Valley and marine paintings along with several carvings,
this exhibit is a glimpse into the unique world of a modern Renaissance man.

Mutell believes there is a distinctive arc of
light that has drawn artists over the years to paint the Hudson River, and that
light extends to the eastern tip of Long Island to what he calls the “North
Fork Light phenomena.” Bill
has spent years going to the North Fork, sketching in the woods and the
shoreline.
