SOUTHEAST CULTURAL ARTS COALITION PRESENTS
A Celebration of Community and Creativity –
Everyone is an Artist, Everyone has a Place
Forget Warhol’s “15 minutes of fame”! Studio Around the Corner will open its doors and offer its walls for the entire month of October to everyone; whether you’re an established artist or someone with a passion for art…The Studio is all yours! For up to $20 per piece, your work will be seen by everyone attending the many events the Studio has planned for its 2014 fundraising month.
Those events include concerts; Salsa Night at the Studio; Theatre productions; Educational shows highlighting the talent of our community's young people; and Community social events such as our Kick-off Gala and Halloween Costume Party.
Participants in the Community Art Show can submit up to three pieces of work (photograph, painting, mixed media, etc.). Artwork must fit completely within one of the three size pre-cut display boards purchased from The Southeast Cultural Arts Coalition.
Boards can be purchased at The Studio Around the Corner on:
May 10th, 17th and 18th between 12-3pm or by appointment
$5 – 5 x 7
$15 – 8 x 10
$20 – 11 x 14
All final artwork must be completed and delivered to the studio on September 13th or 14th between 12-3pm.
