Lego Day and the LEGO Movie FREE SCREENING for “Movie Mondays” at Westchester’s Ridge Hill

Make
Monday, June 16 a fun-filled family day with a visit to Westchester’s Ridge Hill for “LEGO Day.” Spend the afternoon at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center, followed by
a discounted dinner at one of the flavorful family friendly restaurants, then
head to Town Square for pre-film activities, and when the sun sets, sit on the
lawn in Town Square for a FREE screening of “The LEGO Movie.” 

In
celebration of “LEGO Day,” LEGOLAND®
Discovery Center is offering discounted admission at just $10 per visitor –
children and parents can all take advantage of this special pricing on Monday,
June 16. And, as always, kids under two are admitted for free. In addition, the
LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Model
Builder will be onsite for pre-screening activities starting at 7PM. 

Celebrate
the summer with Westchester’s Ridge Hill at Movie Mondays: starting on “LEGO
Day,” June 16 with The Lego Movie, then Frozen on July 14, and Despicable
Me 2 on August 11. Mark your calendars and bring your beach chairs or
blankets for a FREE, family-friendly film series under the stars.  Films
will begin at sunset.  Pre-screening family friendly events include Raise
a Racquet with Yonkers Tennis Center and a Coloring Station by Wee
Westchester.  Plan a family dinner at one of Ridge Hill’s many
contemporary restaurants, or grab snacks at a variety of places before the
movie starts.  Pre-screening musical entertainment and giveaways will be
provided by WHUD.  With mention of Movie Mondays, take advantage of
Pre-Screening Dinner Specials available at Bonefish Grill (Free Bang
Bang Shrimp appetizer with $20 purchase), Brio Tuscan Grille (3-Course
dinner special for $23.95), Havana Central (15% off), and Texas de
