TRUE COLORS, the Paintings of RON WHITEHEAD

To commemorate Veterans Day on November 11th , the Studio Around the Corner is honored to exhibit TRUE COLORS, the paintings of veteran, and Brewster resident, Ron Whitehead.

After joining the United States Army in 1989, Maryland native, Whitehead served as an infantryman in Desert Storm. In his words he started painting to “tell my story in ways I could not put into words.”

Ron has an undergraduate degree in Art Education from Saint Thomas Aquinas College, and a masters degree in Instructional Technology from Western Connecticut State University.

Since 1998, Ron has been teaching art in the Ossining Union Free School District.

In his quest to further his greatest passion, which is to serve fellow veterans in any way he can, all of the proceeds from the sales of his paintings go to veteran based programs.

Join the Studio Around the Corner in honoring the men and women who are currently serving, and who have served, our country around the world through this inspiring exhibit.
