In addition to the many commercial establishments, there are several churches in the Village of Brewster that tend to the needs of the people. Two of these churches have been instrumental in the operation of 's Soup Kitchen. We recently relocated the Soup Kitchen from The , led by Pastor Ray Mellett. Pastor Mellett has graciously provided a host site for the soup kitchen for many years and we thank him for his generosity and support.
Today, June 5th, thanks to Pastor Rick Julian, Janet Ward and the entire FBC congregation, Putnam CAP will reopen the Soup Kitchen at the of Brewster. As they say, it takes a village.........and this is proof of what we can accomplish when we work together. Putnam CAP is happy to announce that this critical program will once again be offered to the public every Tueday, Wednesday and Thursday for lunch. Everyone is welcome.
