Craft: Name Bulbs

Oh how I love glitter! It's so shiny and makes anything sparkle and twinkle :) I saw this on a friend's Facebook page, and being the crafty person I am, I decided to give it a whirl.

Materials:

Colored construction paper

Glue (that dries clear)

Glitter

Tape

String or ribbon

Black marker

I downloaded a bulb template from the web because I can't draw to save my life (there are HUNDREDS!; I googled "Christmas Bulb template"), printed and cut it out.

  • Cut several pieces of construction paper in 1/2 and on each half cut out a lightbulb. You can do 4 or 5 sheets at once to save yourself some time. You will need 1 bulb per letter of the child's name.
  • Once cut out, write the letter you need in glue *Sprinkle with glitter color of choice, and let dry
  • Once the bulbs are dry, attach to a piece of sting or ribbon, with tape to the back. Mark the tops of the bulbs with the marker so they look like screw-in bulbs

That's it! With drying, it took about 2 hours.
