Trailing 7-1 with 5 minutes left in the first half, Brewster battled back to tie the game at half. The offense led by Nick Dingee and Liam DaRos traded goals with Fox Lane and the second half ended the same as the first with both teams knotted at 13.
Ed Schoenig had a huge save with 1 second left on the clock in regulation to preserve the tie. The Bears ended up scoring in the second overtime on a goal by Liam Erickson assisted by Joe Guida. Ed Schoenig ended up with 19 saves. Brewster is now 5-2 on the season.
