A 19-year-old Brewster man was killed during a car crash in Zeeland, Michigan early Tuesday (Aug. 20).
Steven D'Ottavio was pronounced dead at the scene, according to this MLive.com report.
D'Ottavio was driving a 1994 Pontiac Firebird when he failed to stop for a flashing red light, police told MLive. His vehicle collided with a Chevrolet Blazer.
His passenger, 19-year-old Andrew Holbrook from Hopewell Junction, was in a coma as of Wednesday, LoHud reports. The driver of the Blazer was reportedly not seriously injured.
Beecher Funeral Home in Brewster is handling D'Ottavio's funeral arrangements. Details have not yet been finalized.
