Obituary: Patterson Woman Dies at 66

Beecher Funeral Home provided the following obituary.

Gloria J. Bishop, of Patterson, died Tuesday in Danbury, CT at the age of 66.

She was born July 30, 1946 in Glens Falls, daughter of the late Arthur G. and June E. (Whiting) Bishop. She graduated from Brewster High School in 1963 and lived in Brewster until she moved to Patterson 20 years ago.

She is survived by her daughter Colleen Falk of Saratoga Springs; her brothers: Arthur L. Bishop of Carmel, Wayne C. Bishop of Lake Wales, FL and Bruce Bishop of Carmel; her sister Cheryl A. Cable of Patterson; her grandson Warren Falk Jr.; nephews Michael, Jason, Matthew, David and Louis; and nieces Kathleen, Kristina, Jennifer, Heather, Nicole and Marisa. She was predeceased by her brother Basil Bishop and her niece Kimberly.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Beecher Funeral Home (located on Putnam Avenue in Brewster, 845-279-3615). Internment will follow in St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery. The wake will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Beecher's.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Muscular Dystrophy or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
