Wiegand, Richard J., of Mahopac, NY, died Saturday June 21, 2014 at Putnam Hospital Center with his family by his side. He was 58 Years old.
Richard was born March 14, 1956 in Mt. Kisco, NY, son of George R. and Ann (Blersch) Wiegand. He lived most of his life in Patterson, NY, graduating from Brewster High School in 1974.

Richard was self-employed working many different jobs throughout his life; he was a mechanic and a welder. He loved antique farm equipment and antique engines. Anyone who met him loved him. He was the best father to his 2 children and his 3 grandchildren meant the world to him.
Richard is survived by his loving parents, his daughter; Alison Warner of Poughkeepsie, NY, his son; Dustin Wiegand of Pleasant Valley, NY, his 3 brothers, George, Eric and Mark and his sister Joanne and his greatest passion his 3 grandchildren, Emma, Meghan and Matthew as well as nieces and nephews, Karen, Randy, Jamie, Karl and Faith and close family friend Rosa.

Visitation will be held at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY on Wednesday June 25, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM. A service will be held at 7:30 PM during the Visitation. A private cremation occurred prior to the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Richard’s memory can be made to American Cancer Society.
