Services are March 27 for Claude Ronzitti

Claude A. Ronzitti, age 81, of Brewster, NY, died on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at home.

Mr. Ronzitti was born in Brooklyn, NY on Sept. 1, 1932 to Claudio and Vincenza (Giovannettone) Ronzitti. He was graduated from Chaminade High School in Mineola, NY and received a bachelor’s degree from Hofstra University.
  
Mr. Ronzitti had served in the Army during the Korean War.

Mr. Ronzitti married Pauline Alessi on September 5, 1954 at St. Joachim & Ann Church in Queens Village, NY. 

He was a district manager for NYNEX in White Plains, NY for 35 years before retiring in 1985.
 
Mr. Ronzitti was accomplished in sugaring, as well as being a great outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing hiking and even NASTAR, which was competition ski racing. He was also an avid reader and loved both music and visiting Martha’s Vineyard.

Besides his wife Pauline, Mr. Ronzitti is survived by his four children, Catherine R. Crocco of Hopewell Junction, NY, Christopher Ronzitti and Alicia Deutsch, both of Fairfield, CT and Claudio Ronzitti of Norwalk, CT; a sister, Theresa Mulz of Henderson, NV. Also nine grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 27, 2014, 10am at St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster, NY. Interment will follow at St. Lawrence O’Toole Cemetery, Brewster, NY. Friends may call at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster on Wednesday
