Friday, June 27 is National HIV Testing Day. HAVE YOU BEEN TESTED?

Free testing from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the PCDOH, 1 Geneva Road in Brewster, this Friday.

According to the CDC, about 50,000 people each year get infected with HIV in the U.S. and 1 in 6 living with HIV are unaware of their status. CDC recommends that everyone between the ages of 13 and 64 get tested for HIV at least once as part of their routine health care. Regardless of age, people at high risk of HIV should get tested more often.
