Patterson's Erica Cuscina Named HVIAC All-Acacdemic

Seven student-athletes from The College of New Rochelle were named to the Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) 2013 Fall All-Academic Team, it was announced recently by the conference office.  Junior Erica Cuscina (Patterson, NY/School of the Holy Child) earned the honor for the second consecutive year.

Cuscina helped lead the Blue Angels to the HVIAC Tournament Championship this season, as The College of New Rochelle captured their third championship in the last five years, setting or equaling over 30 program records along the way.

Of the 137 student-athletes named All-Academic, 23 also received All-Conference honors in their respective sports and 50 were repeat All-Academic honorees.

The All-Academic Team consists of student-athletes who have reached sophomore academic standing and have earned a 3.5 cumulative grade point average or better at the conclusion of the fall semester, and participate in one of the conference’s fall sports - men's soccer, men's cross country, women's soccer, women's tennis, women's volleyball and women's cross country.
