New York State Police arrested former Brewster resident Ronaldo Martinez April 3 on an outstanding arrest warrant for Rape 3rd Degree, a Class E Felony.
The incident occurred in Brewster in 2007.
Martinez, 28, lives now in Elmont, NY.
The 7-year investigation included efforts from members of the New York State Police in Troops K and L and was handled with assistance from the Nassau County Police Department, state police said.
Martinez was arraigned in the Town of Patterson Court and sent to Putnam County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.
He is scheduled to appear in the Village of Brewster Court April 14.
