Carmel Police arrested a 36-year-old Mahopac man after officials received a report of a naked male masturbating in the area of Maple Lane in Mahopac, authorities say.
Officer Stephen McCabe responded to the incident at about 8:30 p.m. July 14, Chief Mike Johnson said in a statement Monday.
"...The suspect was located in the woods completely nude with the exception of a pair of slippers he was wearing," the release states.
Police arrested the defendant on a misdemeanor charge with public lewdness. He was released pending an Aug. 20 appearance in Carmel Justice Court.
