Cops: Connecticut Man Carried Pills on Route 22

State police provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police say a Danbury, CT resident is due in Southeast Justice Court later this month in connection with a recent prescription drug discovery.

Rodrigo Libanori, 24, is facing a misdemeanor charge of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to officials at the Southeast barracks of the New York State Police.

Troopers stopped Libanori—who was reportedly operating a 2004 Mercedes 240 series with a single headlight—around 1:25 a.m. Saturday on Route 22 in Southeast. During the investigation, police discovered Libanori was in possession of Adderall pills, offices said. They were unable to say how many.

Libanori is also facing a violation of carrying a controlled substance not in an orginal container.

Authorities released Libanori pending an Oct. 19 appearance in court.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.
