The New York State Police provided the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police have arrested two North Salem teens in connection with a report of a damaged vehicle.

Jeffrey B. Hott, 17, and Richard G. Shenkewitz, 18, are each facing a felony charge of second-degree criminal mischief, according to official reports. The New York State Police in Somers announced the arrests Thursday, following the Aug. 9 incident, which authorities say occurred after the pair left a party in the area of Vail Lane in North Salem.

"Investigation revealed that the two subjects damaged a vehicle belonging to another by jumping on the hood and roof of the vehicle and kicking the windshield," police said in a statement.
