Frezza Appears in Court, Heads Back to Jail

The ex-cop is due again on May 22.

Patrick Frezza, the first defendant to appear in Carmel Justice Court Tuesday night, was escorted out of the room and directly into a 's van by four officers after he was remanded to jail.

Carmel Town Justice Thomas Jacobellis noted that the ex-Brewster cop and former K9 handler, , is facing additional charges: two counts of misdemeanor criminal contempt in the second degree. He was initially charged with three counts of felony reckless endangerment, three counts of misdemeanor second-degree menacing and one count of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

Frezza, who was in shackles and a tan jumpsuit, remained silent during the appearance. The case was adjourned until May 22. Jacobellis ordered him back to the Putnam County Correctional Facility without bail.

Um...Since I live in Southeast, I can't vote for Mayor of the Village of Brewster. So why do youRead More think I, a taxpayer of Southeast, paid for this destruction when I really don't have a clue to what happens in the Village? There's a disconnect that needs to addressed.

Great topics. I really like Mr Jacobs point of view on education. Also "A recipe for aRead More meaningful education." Always looking for more ideas on this topic.
